In 1978 Dr. Ray Claxton began Materials Analysis with a vision to create a business where high-achieving engineers could pursue a shared goal of providing the highest standards in investigative and analytical engineering services. The dream was to develop a business whose integrity and reputation would become sought-after values, and that would be based on a partnership with clients to achieve results through innovative, creative problem solving.
In 1980, with the aid of a supportive banker, Ray incorporated the business, acquired the first microscopes, and moved into formal laboratory facilities. As the business grew, he expanded and added additional equipment that gave Materials Analysis the ability to provide more advanced technical services. More importantly, he recruited professionals with exceptional talent and the desire to succeed; professionals seeking a place where common goals and a high level of personal satisfaction could be achieved within a framework of shared values and ethics.
By working smart and listening to what the clients had to say, Materials Analysis grew. Clients said they needed failure analysis, product design, and litigation support services. Equipment and personnel were added to meet those demands and today over half the business comes from these areas.
Through the years of growth and change, Materials Analysis matured into the existing successful company, occupying 9,000 square feet in Northeast Dallas with a staff of top notch, licensed Professional Engineers. Materials Analysis continues to provide high quality engineering consulting and technical support services, routinely exceeding the expectations of clients.
So when you are dealing with a mechanical or metallurgical problem, do not hesitate to contact Materials Analysis Inc. We look forward to working with you, and will bring our best every time.
