MA-tek Creates a Comprehensive Power Component Integrity Verification Service Model

2025/06/16

Market Trends

The global ban on the sale of new gasoline-fueled vehicles will begin in 2030. The automotive industry will thus enter the era of electric vehicles, and the method of power generation will transition from the engine to the battery. The electric vehicle industry is being driven by the combined power of environmentalism, industrial policies and technological development. Over the next 20 years, fuel-based vehicles will be rapidly replaced by electric vehicles. As such, to master the technology and market for electric vehicles is to master future blue ocean business opportunities.

The Key Role of Power Components

The high voltage and high frequency characteristics of power components (SiC, GaN) related to power supplies play an important role in electric vehicles. Numerous companies have realized the key role that power components play in electric vehicles and begun investing in power component research and development.

High-Quality Integrity Verification Model

IOL Burn-in System

MA-tek too is a part of the tide of change sweeping through the automotive industry. Based on our extensive experience in automotive product certification and the provision of integrated certification services, we offer customers a one-stop option for verifying

both the reliability and quality of automotive products in general and power components in particular. We were the first of Taiwan’s many laboratories to provide comprehensive verification services. Our one-stop verification service model covers everything from verification planning, reliability verification, and power component electrical parameter testing to failure analysis, thereby greatly reducing the time needed for power component verification and enabling customers to launch their products quickly and accelerate their entry into the automotive supply chain.

To provide high-quality HV H3TRB/IOL (Intermittent Operating Life)/HTGB/HTRB reliability verification, etc., all at once, we developed the dedicated Burn-in System, which, for example, can perform IOL testing for both SiC and GaN materials, complies with the AEC-Q101, as the On/Off can be controlled based on ΔTj, and can monitor component voltage and current in real time.

MA-tek is always striving to be the best possible R&D partner our customers can have. In addition to general vehicle verification and analysis services, we also provide consulting services to help customers understand the nuances of automotive certification so that they can successfully enter the automotive supply chain.
